Chief Apostle Vincent Darnell Maxwell was born November 29, 1969. He is the son of Catherine Cross of Elgin, IL and Kumkale Maxwell of Little Rock, AR. From the age of birth until he was old enough to make his own decisions, He was a member of Bethesda Church of God in Christ in Elgin, IL. In 1997, he moved to Little Rock, AR, constantly running from his calling; not knowing it was all a set-up from GOD. He knew that he had a calling upon his life at a early age, because just about everything he did, would not work out for him. Finally, he gave up.....he decided to let JESUS be his Savior and he knew he could not live without Him. He knew GOD loved him by GOD sending his ONLY begotten SON, not to condemn him, but through Him he would be saved. Now, he is totally SOLD OUTfor JESUS CHRIST. In September 2004, God introduced him to Prophetess Anjelica Maxwell...
November 6, 2004, they were married and God has been blessing them every since.
In June 2006, GOD called and Chose Apostle Maxwell to become a Pastor....He told GOD if He leads him, he will follow and sure enough, GOD lead him. He and His wife had their official service at their house June 11, 2006; Although, they were the only people in attendance, they still had a wonderful time in the LORD. In August 2006, GOD gave Pastor the Apostolic Anointing of Paul ordaining him as an Apostle.
In July 2007, GOD blessed them to move their service from their house into a building. GOD really blessed!!!
Apostle Maxwell has served as the Senior Pastor of Thy Word Prophetic Ministry for 4 years now. He is a natural intercessor that is greatly used by GOD in the ministry of prophetic and deliverence. His anointed ministry is being used by the LORD to encourage believers to fulfil their purpose in building the Kindom of GOD. His insights to the realms of prayer, prophecy, spiritual warfare, healing, deliverance, worship, and leadership and the realm of GLORY has caused him to be a sought after preacher in these end-times. The ministry of Apostle Maxwell emphasizes the responsibility of all believers to seek after the heart of GOD. His challenge to the body of Christ is to become the exception and not the norm. Thy Word Prophetic Ministry is an unorthodox ministry.....a Prophetic Ministry that speaks the true and living word of GOD, rhema and logos.
The vision of Chief Apostle Maxwell is the following: To see souls saved, to heal the sick, to see bondages broken, believers baptized with the Holy Spirit, and to teach and preach the Revelation of the Cross.
